How to Build a Vision

I have a vision- and that's to serve my clients.

My clients have a vision- and that's to grow this kind of world class opportunity and business that creates a meaningful contribution in their market, and the people who are their team.

That vision's gonna be built, not by an Indeed ad. Unfortunately, we can't do a pay-per-click funnel and get the right people to apply. It's going to be built relationship by relationship. Relationships happen from conversations. One conversation doesn't make a relationship- it begins one.

The quality and quantity of conversations I have with the right quality and quantity of candidates will directly determine the quality and quantity of talent we have to achieve the vision.

So I need to be good at the real business I'm in, which is getting in conversation- and not just quantity, but quality.

And the quality of conversation that talent is looking for- is one of leadership, significance, and belonging.

So that's my job. Show up in conversation- bring leadership, significance, and belonging. And the rest will happen.
